Versioning

Stable pgmem versions use 1.X.Y; beta versions use 0.X.Y. X identifies the bundled PostgreSQL major version. Y counts pgmem releases for that major and track. Every release artifact uses the same full X.Y.Z version.

1.19.x	PostgreSQL 19.x after general availability	Stable	Stable PostgreSQL 19 line, starting at 1.19.0.

npm dist-tags are selected per package. Every 0.X.Y beta release uses beta. Among stable releases, latest points to the highest published SemVer version, regardless of publication order. A stable release below the current latest uses postgresql-X, where X is the bundled PostgreSQL major version. For example, install the beta channel with npm install @pgmem/core@beta, or the PostgreSQL 18 maintenance channel with npm install @pgmem/core@postgresql-18.
